Ways to Contribute
Your donations enable us to continue offering our annual programming to you, as membership fees cover only a small portion of our costs. Please consider supporting us through any of the following options:
1. CCHS operations, in support of all our programming.
2. The Chinook Country Historical Fund at the Calgary Foundation. This legacy fund provides an annual grant to CCHS in support of all our programming.
3. The Historic Calgary Forever Fund at the Calgary Foundation. This legacy fund provides an annual grant specifically for funding our annual Historic Calgary Week festival. See the FAQ below for more details.
4. Historic Calgary Week Operating Expenses, in support of Historic Calgary Week programming.
5. CCHS Virtual App project. Under this project, we are creating a free app that will enable participants to virtually tour various sites within Chinook Country.
You can donate to any of the above directly through CCHS, either as an etransfer, by cheque or by credit card. See the downloads below for more information on donations to CCHS. All donations of $20 and above will receive a charitable tax receipt.
To donate via etransfer, please direct your donation through our email address: treasurer1@chinookhistory.ca. You will not need to provide a password as the donation will be deposited directly into the CCHS bank account. In the “Message” section of the etransfer form, please indicate which of the above four options to which you would like us to direct your donation. To recieve a tax receipt, please provide a message with your full name, mailing address, and phone number.

To donate via credit card, please do so through the Historical Society of Alberta website’s online form at https://www.albertahistory.org/donate-now/. This form is secure and the Historical Society of Alberta will not retain your credit card information.
